“As the completion keeps getting better you keep getting better”, Samsung has
proved this statement right again another year. However, this year might not be
so much about profound changes but is more about subtle changes. Let’s get into these changes for better understanding.
SAMSUNG GALAXY S9 :
The release date for Samsung Galaxy S9: March 16
Prices estimated to start from- Rs 64,900 for 64 GB.
|
S9 Plus does come at a higher price range than S9,
that is Rs 64,900 for S9 plus and 57,900 for S9 for 64 GB variant. However
prices shoot up a little for 256 GB, Rs, 64, 900 and 72, 900 for S9 plus and s9
respectively.
Heres something really exciting for the Vodafone
users, upon the purchase they will get a free one-year subscription to NETFLIX,
interesting way to utilize that huge screen! Keep your money saved because sale
begins from 16 march!
You can make your purchase from Samsung India store,
Flipkart and Airtel stores.
Talking about the specific and most prominent feature
-
The Camera
World of selfies, this camera comes with F/1.5, widest
aperture. S9 doesn't, however, leave F/2.4 aperture behind. This allows the
phone to switch from 1.5 to 2.4 on its own when kept in auto mode.
The major change that user will notice using this
camera is how the camera now focuses on natural colors. In the past, Samsung
concentrated on making images appear brighter. Even though one can manage
beautiful clicks, some clicks can manage to appear washed out. However, if one
were to compare the camera of Google Pixel 2 and S9, I’d say Google Pixel wins the war, as details don't appear to be washed
out due to noise removal.
AR EMOJI
As Samsung is now trying to bring some fun in our
lives as well just like snapchat. IT allows AR emoji switch on the camera app.
Here you can click a photograph and change it into your favorite cartoonish
character. It seems to be a good idea as one can definitely enjoy these silly
characters with friends and family and have a fun time just like Samsung wants
you to.
SLO-MO delights :
Shooting 960fps slo-mo might sound like an inspiration
from Sony. However, this slo-mo appears to be more stable. Even though slo-mo
hasn't been much in the talks but people do enjoy once in a while Karan john
movie scenarios.
All in all:
Samsung has never failed to bring something new to the
table and interest people along with offering them value for money. However, I
have to mention that besides the quality discussed above S9 doesn’t seem to a be a very upgraded version of note 8 or S8. Samsung does
need to work on their washed out quality images that sometimes are noticed in
the unnatural light. But If the lighting is perfection so is your photograph.
Doesn’t hurt to say, a model always finds their light.
